Beginner skater likes these skates

I purchased these skates at the age of 54 to learn to roller blade. I used to ice skate at an average level and ski at an advanced level several years ago. Although they were not reccomended for beginner skaters I was up and going in about 15 minutes doing the bare basics. Very happy to purchase protective wear tho, already saved myself a wrist and an elbow injury.
That said these skates are great, fit perfectly, (size 10 was size 10) no excess movement in the frame, built quite well compared to others I looked at. Interestingly enough, they were actually better than the smaller wheeled skates reccomended for beginners with better bearings, frames and boots as well as better pricing than the lesser quality ones. I went blading over relatively coarse concrete and they rolled well and yet gripped the pavement well. I was pleasantly amazed. The only issue was they came in white with blue trim instead of the picture shown which was gray and red. I just got a helmet to match the protective wear non gloss black and they are just fine, I could care less about the color. I would reccomend these to beginning skaters who are slightly heavy and have skated or skied before. Very sturdy yet comfortable and light on the feet. Get protective wear tho esp wrist pads. I wish I would have tried this years ago. These beat the four wheel ones I learned to skate on back in the skating rink days when it was two + two rather than 4 in-line.
A fast comfortable skate thats easy to turn with big wheels

Just took the 2009 K2 Moto 90 in line skates for a spin on a beautiful sunny February Florida day.

Did about 7 miles on various surfaces. The skate was extremely comfortable and fit my slightly wider foot perfectly. I had tried on the 2008 model and it was a little snug in the front part of my foot but the 2009 model fit perfectly.

After skating on 80mm wheels for the past 10 years I was ready to move up to bigger wheels. I skate with the Skate Tampa.com skate group and everyone has different skates. After talking to a few of my friends who had bigger wheels they mentioned that the turning and stopping was more challenging but I didn't find that a problem with the K2 Moto 90's.

I would highly recommend these skates to experienced skaters that want comfort and performance. Lets roll......
great skates

I will just give a quick thumbs up to these skates which I purchased based on reading other reviews as well as my own needs. The larger wheels definatly roll better then my old skates. The support is fine and they fit my feet well. I got a pretty good price for the 2009 models. The color maybe a little bland but thats not anything I care about in an inline skate.
great skates

These skates fit great and are not too bulky. nor are their trucks to long, which was a concern i had when purchasing. i wanted a skate that was good a distances 8-10 miles, yet i could still ride in more recreational areas. these skates do both.
Fast training skates

These are amazing skates for the money! I use mine for long distance skating and hope to race on them this year at the Northshore Inline Marathon. Great fitting boot and long lasting wheels that came stock on the skates. The hardness is just right for our lousy paved streets, and the frame that they roll on is perfect blend of stiffness and flex. They are however, not easy to manuver on. The bigger wheels mean you have to think ahead if you need to act fast. But, that was not what they were built for so thats OK.
My only complaint is that they do weigh a little bit more than skates I have used in the past. This is not a problem in how they perform, just a little more heft on the feet if you will. Buy them, you will not be dissapointed!K2 Moto 90 Men's Cross Training Skate
